Answer three simple questions on the home page, and we will recommend various categories associated with your chosen event. All the service providers found within those recommended categories are available for your event based on the date, time and location you entered. Select your favourite service provider, complete the secure online payment process and get confirmation within 24 hours of your booking request.
Once a service provider accepts your booking request, you'll receive a confirmation email with a summary of your booking. We understand that life can sometimes throw you a curveball and you might need to cancel a booking. To cancel an upcoming booking, log in to your account, click on the ‘My Bookings’ tab in the right top corner and select the ‘Confirmed Bookings’ tab. Find the relevant booking and click on the ‘Cancel [X]’ button. Please note, cancellation fees may apply.
FRED's cancellation policy is straightforward and easy to understand.
1. If you cancel 8+ days before your event, you will receive a full refund of your booking fee, less the service fee.
2. If you cancel between 4 - 7 days before your event, you are charged a 50% cancellation fee, less the service fee.
3. If you cancel between 0 - 3 days before your event, you are charged a 100% cancellation fee, less the service fee.
4. If a service provider cancels your booking, you will always receive a full refund, including the service fee.

Firstly, rest assured you will always receive a full refund, including the service fee if one of our service providers does not show up. You can immediately raise a complaint/dispute by clicking on the ‘My Bookings’ tab, followed by ‘Completed Bookings’ tab. Find the relevant booking and click on the ‘Review’ button and select ‘Raise a Complaint’. Our support team will contact you within 48 hours to resolve the complaint.
Once a service provider accepts your booking request, the full booking amount, including service fee is transferred to a secure account. Service providers will only receive payment once they complete their booking successfully. If a booking is made directly with a supplier outside of the FRED platform, the payment is also outside of FRED, and we cannot guarantee any protection of funds or offer any customer support.
If a service provider cancels your booking, you will be notified immediately by email after which the system automatically will trigger a full refund, including the service fee. Please note, refunds can take up to 10 days to reach your account and is subject to your bank’s terms and conditions.
Yes, you can cancel your booking by clicking on the ‘My Bookings’ tab, followed by ‘Pending Bookings’ tab. Find the relevant booking and click on the ‘Cancel [X]’ button. Zero fees apply.
Yes of course. To message a service provider, log in to your account and click the ‘Contact Us’ button located on the Service Provider Profile Page. You will be notified of any replies through email. To reply to a service provider, log in to your account and click the ‘Message’ tab.
Yes, you can, just email our support centre your booking reference number and the changes you would like to make. FRED will contact the service provider directly and update your booking details accordingly. We will confirm your changes by email.
Yes, all credit card details are stored securely with STRIPE. We will never ask you for your credit card details nor will we ever store your credit card details on any of our servers. STRIPE customers include Kickstarter, Target, Deliveroo, TaskRabbit, Unicef, DigitalOcean and Lyft to name a few.
Based on your experience, you can rate the service provider and write an honest review, which will allow other customers to make an informed decision, or you can raise a complaint with FRED. A FRED representative will contact you directly for further information. Refunds (full or partial) are subject to FRED’s discretion, and cases will be viewed on a case to case basis.
FRED’s fee structure is simple. We charge service providers a flat rate of 10% on their advertised booking fee. For example, if you advertise your service or product for $100, you will receive $90 once you complete your booking successfully.
The service fee helps us run our platform and offer services like 24/7 support. Our service fee is inclusive of GST.
